Hot Chocolate Favours

I know it's spring and I should be writing about spring / summer related favours but I can't help myself. Unless it's 40 degrees outside, it's rare I'd turn down a hot chocolate. Pour a little Baileys in it and I'll be your friend forever!

I saw these and immediately fell in love. How great would these be for a winter wedding (too late for me, but maybe one of you??), a winter bridal shower or anything between the months of October - late March!

Bridal Party Thank You's!

With the wedding over a month behind me I can talk about weddings with ease and pleasure. Note, the last couple months of wedding planning was stressful. Michael told me on our honeymoon I was a different person then!!

Anyways, onto happier things! What are you giving your bridesmaids as a thank you? I stumbled upon this on Pinterest and thought it was fabulous.

Style Me Pretty
This is a great way to personalize each basket for every person in your bridal party.

I gave my bridesmaids jewels from Stella and Dot and a fake fur wrap from Jacob to keep them warm which was lovely.

So, what did you do for your bridesmaids?

T Minus 9 Days!

I cannot believe the engagement that would never end is finally coming to an end, in 9 days no less! I still have some last minute things to take care of and the candy station is one of them.

We have six different jars / holders for the candy and we're I'm trying to figure out what type of candy to put in them.

I have a couple narrowed down but need some help with the rest. Here are the ones I know for sure: candy canes, little and big; hershey's kisses in the silver wrapping and red smarties. What other three types of candy would you serve at a romantic, wintery wedding?

For some inspiration, check out some of these great candy stations I found on Pinterest.

Wedding Crazies!

It's two and a half weeks away until the wedding and I have a case of the wedding crazies! I don't have time for an insightful post today but think this is cute and worth sharing.

Up For Corn on the Cob?

I know this recipe Friday post isn't very fitting with the season we're in but I figured, what the heck, something to look forward to for next year.

I'm a big lover of corn on the cob. I'll only eat corn if it's on the cob, without a cob I have no time for it. Weird, I know.

How great would this be at a summer bbq or served late night at an outdoor wedding? All of the food looks delicious but the corn is what caught my attention.

Have a great weekend!

Wedding Excitment!!

As some of you may know Michael and I are having a very long engagement, 2 longgg years! Michael and I have had 5 weddings to attend this 2011 wedding seasons and we've been to four amazing weddings and the last one is OURS! The wedding is a little over 2.5 months away and I'm already as giddy as a 4 year old on Christmas morning.

That said, here are some fun wedding / bridal shower pictures and ideas I thought I'd share with you.

All of these pictures where found on Pinterest.

Enjoy the Party,

Nicole :)

Christie Antique Show

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. My weekend was over the top wonderful for so many reasons. Friday night I had a celebration dinner for a friend of mine who recently got engaged. Saturday I hit up the Christie Antique show during the day which was awesome (see below) and Saturday night my family had an Italian Jack & Jill for Michael and I which was beyond lovely.

Christie Antique Show:

I went looking for a big frame for a DIY project I'm tackling for the wedding and I found one. It needs a bit of loving but it's perfect for my project. I also found a few other jems that I'm so pumped about. I bought 2 handmade decorative throw pillows, drawer pulls and a key rack to hang on the wall at our front door.

The weather on Saturday was perfect, much better than in May when I went to the show. There were so many great pieces. Lots of trunks, mason jars, old bottles and so much more. I could have bought a lot more than I did!

Check out this neat dresser. I didn't buy it but thought it was interesting to say the least!

The frame for the DIY wedding project!

Isn't this settee so pretty. I love the white!

Lastly, check out these pictures from our Las Vegas Jack & Jill my family had for Michael and I!

The bar where the Nicole and Michael signature drinks where served. Also, notice the floral arrangments with the cards and poker chips. The poker chips were my Grandfather's!

The red carpet!

Have a wonderful day!

Enjoy the Party,

Nicole :)
