Cottage Living

Thank goodness it's Friday! This week has been long. Our pup was neutered on Wednesday so I've spent the last couple days tending to him while working full time. I'm ready for the weekend.

Tonight I'm heading north with my girl friends for our annual cottage weekend. No we're not going to go for long hikes around the lake or enjoy the beautiful scenary cottage country in the fall has the offer. We're going to be sitting inside around the fire place, talking until our jaws hurt, eating junk food and drinking too much wine. Well I'll be skipping out on the wine part, but you get the idea.

I figure in honour of the fabulous girls weekend I have in store I'd share with you a gorgeous cottage in the Muskokas. No we're not staying here but that doesn't mean a girl can't dream.

Check this place out. This 7,000 sq ft cottage over looks Lake Muskoka, has a wine cellar, a gourmet kitchen, 5 bathrooms and 5 bedrooms. Do you really need much more?

Is this not amazing! Could you not see yourself spending the summer rest of your life in his stunning cottage!

Jazz Up Your Legs!

Being that we're knee deep into fall, I think it's time we start talking fall fashion. I personally love fall and winter fashion more then summer. There are way more options for these seasons then you get during the summer.

One of my favourite fall trends is tights. A fabulous pair of tights will totally change your look and add that jazz to your outfit. Don't you agree?

Apple Treats

I know it's not offically fall and it's supposed to be 30 degrees today but after labour day it's fall in my mind. If you haven't heard, fall is by far my favourite season. It's not too cold and it's not too hot, it's just right!

Decorating For Fall

Is anyone else itching for their front porch to be decked out with fall mums and pumpkins? Yes, yes, I am wishing away summer again, don't hate me!

There is just so much to love about the fall - the gorgeous colours, my birthday, Thanksgiving, fabulous boots, do I need to say more?

This is the first time I've had my very own front porch to decorate and I plan on having fun with it.

Trendy Fall Outfits

First off, sorry the posts have been few and far between this week. Work and life are a bit nuts right now and unfortunately blogging had to take a back seat. Hopefully things will be a bit more calm next week.

I don't know about you but I totally have the urge to put on my brown boots and pretend it's already fall. Ya Ya rushing away summer is horrible but I don't care, I'm ready for my favourite season!

100th Post!

Sorry for being MIA this week. I had one of those weeks that just kicks you to the curb but I'm back and feeling better than ever!

First off, this is my 100th post, how exciting! As I sit here drinking a neocitron so I can tackle my busy weekend I'm pondering what my next 100 posts will be about....

Secondly, I have a very fun weekend planned as I hope all of you do too. Tonight Michael and I are off to Fishbone Bistro in Stouffville for a delicious dinner and I can't wait.

Being that Canadian Thanksgiving is this weekend I thought I'd share some great fall/Thanksgiving decor ideas. I'm a big fan of decorating for the season and being that fall is my favourite season I think these are just wonderful. All of the ideas came from Pinterest.

My Love for Fall Fashion

I know I did a post just last week on Fall Fashion but I just can't help myself, I need to do another. I don't know if it's because it's New York Fashion Week or the nights are getting cooler but I am just in LOVE with the fall fashion trends this year. Side note, my birthday is in October, so fall is my favourite season too!

Ok, so what's your favourite fall trend?

1) I have a flat pair of Michael Kors black boots that I got last year and wore for the first time of the season today. I adore them BUT will be on the hunt for another pair of great boots in Europe!

2) I am typing with green nails right now!

3) I always have red / bright lips! I am in the market for a great orangey-red fall colour. Any suggestions?
